Carol Hui joined Heathrow in March 2009 as General Counsel, and was appointed Chief of Staff in 2017. She is a member of the Executive Committee, where she is responsible for legal affairs, business assurance, external and internal communications, sustainability and environment, and has also been at the forefront of Heathrow’s highly complex expansion programme. Under Carol’s remit, too, is managing strategic risk of political instability, rising global security concerns and climate change. Previously, Carol held senior board and executive positions in several major infrastructure businesses including British Gas, and was a solicitor at City law firm, Slaughter and May. Throughout her career Carol has been an influential voice in the legal industry, receiving numerous accolades from the likes of the Financial Times, International Law Office, The Lawyer and Legal 500. Carol is a passionate advocate for encouraging major businesses, like Heathrow, to prioritise diversity and inclusion within their workforces.
